Our Educational Structure

San Francisco City Academy seeks to inspire students to become lifelong learners through a creative and rigorous curriculum. The academic program emphasizes individualized learning, tailoring education to each child's needs through diverse curricula. For TK - 5th Grade, it aligns with California state standards and integrates Biblical worldviews. Enrichment, including digital tools, teacher-led activities, and project-based learning, enhances the educational experience.

San Francisco City Academy Leadership School (6-8th grade) provides students with community service opportunities, aligned with rigorous state standards, foster social responsibility. We provide students curriculum through Liberty University's online program supplements core subjects with self-paced learning. Spiritual development is nurtured through chapel assemblies, worship, and scripture time.

Our small class sizes allow for individualized attention throughout the learning process, supporting all students to achieve high expectations and develop a strong academic foundation.

  • Foundational skills are critical in the lower elementary ages, and our curriculum emphasizes acquiring those skills in a way that aligns with the developmental needs of students.

  • As upper elementary students lean into the foundation built in the lower grades, skills begin to focus on fluency and comprehension, with a greater emphasis on application.

  • With students preparing for high school, content and tasks become more complex, bringing in high-order thinking skills and deepening connections between foundational skills and creative application.
